I mourn the beautiful girl that I lost,

So full of light, love and happiness,

I mourn the opportunities I let slip by,

The childhood lost because of selfishness,

I mourn the innocence I once had,

So optimistic and angelic,

But most of all, I mourn the pieces of myself I’ve lost along the way..
